Utilido provides free online utilities for people who need fast image, PDF, text, developer, calculator, and conversion tools. The site is also a public portfolio project by Benchehida Abdelatif, showing how practical web tools can be built with performance, privacy, and usability in mind.
Our Privacy Approach
We try to collect as little personal information as possible. You can use the tools without creating an account. Image, PDF, and most other utilities process your files or text locally in your browser. We do not receive the contents of those conversions.
File Processing
- Image and PDF tools run the convert step in your browser; file bytes are not sent to Utilido for that step.
- Converted or merged files are offered as downloads from memory in your browser session.
- We do not store, sell, or profile the files you open in these tools.
Analytics and Logs
We may use hosting, security, and performance analytics from providers such as Cloudflare. These services help us understand aggregate traffic, errors, performance, security events, and abuse patterns. We do not use this information to sell personal data.
Advertising
Utilido is preparing for advertising, including possible Google AdSense, to help keep tools free. Ad code is not active on tool pages at the time of this policy update. When ads go live, partners may use cookies or similar technologies as described in their policies. Google explains partner data use at Google's partner sites policy.
An ads.txt file may be present before units are shown. That file declares authorized ad sellers only and does not mean every page already displays ads.
Cookies
Utilido may use cookies or local storage for core features such as theme preference, abuse prevention, security, rate limiting, and ad delivery if advertising is enabled. Third-party providers may set their own cookies or similar technologies when their services are loaded.
Links to Other Sites
Utilido may link to external sites, including LinkedIn, GitHub, Cloudflare, or Google policy pages. Those sites are responsible for their own privacy practices.
Children's Privacy
Utilido is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as Utilido grows, especially if we add ads, payments, accounts, analytics, or new processing features. The date at the top will show when it was last updated.
